My Story

Background

JoAnn Rice originates from California but spent her formative years in Texas. Raised in the countryside on a dairy, her childhood was filled with simple joys such as riding her bike, catching lightning bugs, and playing kick the can.

Family

JoAnn has been married to her supportive husband for 35 years, whom she met in high school. Together, they have three grown children and six grandchildren.   In 2004, the family relocated to the hill country.

Professional Experience

JoAnn has dedicated over two decades to early education, working in daycare centers, private Christian schools, and running her own home daycare. Her passion lies in nurturing children, watching them grow and learn, and sharing God's love with them. In addition to her work in childcare, she spent ten years as an office manager, overseeing employees, managing schedules and payroll, and handling various office duties.

Mission and Vision

Inspired by a vision from God, JoAnn opened a home daycare, recognizing the significant need for quality, Christian childcare in her community. Her mission is to share the love of Jesus with the children under her care and their families by building genuine relationships and helping them understand that they are cherished creations, deeply loved by God.
